A work crew from The Pines at Bristol Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation works Friday on the grounds outside the community center of the Plainville Housing Authority, 20 Stillwell Drive, as volunteers for the United Way Day of Caring. The Plainville Association for Retarded Citizens, Plainville Day Care Center and Plainville Community Food Pantry were also recipients of volunteers' giving hearts and busy hands.
